The 'Waterfall'

With pretty much a week of solid rain, it was nice for it to stay away today so that young people (and those not so young) could get out and enjoy the fresh air again.

A puddle, some 'ramps' and a strategic movement of the hand and suddenly we are witness to a 'waterfall'!

The simple pleasures. I hope you managed to stop and take in a few this weekend. :)

  1. I had a chuckle when I read your post... my kids LOVE doing things like that. Keeps them busy for hours on end...

Hope that Spring is well and truly on it's way for you. Conversely, we sure do feel Fall in the air here.

  2. Hi, that looks like a great waterfall !! I can imagine she had fun making it too !! We are having sun, finally, after weeks of rain and cold weather here in The Netherlands.

  3. It's boring to talk about the weather but it really is so impressively wet. Squelchy good times, love that she's embracing the mud. I spread a little more of that mulch pile today. Hopefully locking in all that rain to last through the summer. If it's wet at our house you must be wallowing in the dam by now!

When you get a chance , pop over to the blog and email me with a price for the beanie I asked about (email address is in tarriffs pages at top).So excited about that!!!I would like a brown one with a black cow.And then when people see me in it , everyone is going to want one.

  8. I love puddles and mud, luckily so do my grand-kids. We've had plenty of rain here so lots of wet and muddy clothes have gone through my laundry. I love the waterfall, we haven't done anything that creative yet with the mud.

  9. I have very distant memories of myself as a youngest doing a very similar thing. One of my fondest memories!
