Craftings..

My head is full of craftings lately. Seriously full. Overflowing even! I have to say, it's a nice thing for it to be filled with..

Vintage patterns just bursting with inspiration..

The winding up of the London games, a cosy spot and spinning wheel all seemed to go hand in hand..
Gosh I loved the gymnastics..especially the rhythmic!

Finding myself getting sidetracked with a dyeing session..

..and the sussing out of some labels.
Labels, I say! Whoop!

Items from these crafting sessions will be appearing in my shop soon..

Wishing you a lovely weekend!

Linking up with Linda today for Creative Friday.

  7. Loving your labels, they look very sweet Christine.
Also love that retro looking fabric in the last shot- how funky would a little one look in that.

  8. I too love that fabric in the last picture. I didn't watch any of the Olympics, while I dread winter, it's the winter games that get my attention more. Looking forward to seeing more of your items in your store.

  12. Oooooh that dyed yarn looks delicious! Wow! I, too loved the rhythmic gymnastics -not so much when my 14 yr olds decided to show me how they could do it too in the not-so-big loungeroom! You've inspired me to get the spinning wheel out again!:-)

  13. I love vintage knitting patterns! I was lucky enough to have some given to me by my mum. Mostly baby patterns, some she knitted for us as babies.

    1. Hi Sam, for the folded tags I used cotton sheets for inkjet printers (available at sewing shops) and printed straight on them -search youtube there are heaps of tutorials out there.

For the tape, I followed the directions from here:
      http://patchworkpottery.blogspot.com.au/2008/09/fabric-labels-tutorial.html

Hope this helps, they were really fun to make. Although if you didn't want to make your own, there are suppliers on etsy selling custom labels very reasonably. :)
