I feel like I have crossed a big emotional hurdle this week. As a result I haven't felt like posting much, preferring rather to take each day as it comes and soak up the moments the week has offered.
The 'hurdle' took us all the way to the north of the state for an overnight stay and while I won't go into details, it feels comforting to have a sense of closure. I feel ready to look forward and tackle new things, including crazy projects and hopefully some hair brained schemes!
During the past couple of weeks I've been witnessing the most gorgeous changes in colour in our area. Each day is a new surprise to see what tree has turned (and to count how many people with cameras are out
this day, as compared to
yesterday!)
Would you like to take a little walk with me today?
I do hope you are finding some time to soak up the moments the week is offering you. x
Christine, your photographs are just magic. I am going to show my kindergarteners your photos tomorrow as we are learning all about autumn at the moment. BTW, hair brained is what true creativity is all about. Hope everything smooths out for you. Take care.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to hearing what your hairy brain comes up with, all the best ideas have curls. isn't it just the best autumn, looks like you are getting to know that new camera, your pictures are just divine!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant photos, Christine! Just amazing. Your new camera is in the hands of a magician!
ReplyDeleteYour autumn photos are beautiful Christine. Thank you for the walk.

ReplyDeleteAhh Autumn. My favourite time of year. Your photos capture the essence of the changing seasons.
ReplyDeleteI had to double check the date on your post as it is Spring here in the US, then I realized you are in Australia. Beautiful photos, I miss the autumn colors as we don't really get them here near Houston, Texas.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the beauty!
Hi Christine, I hope all is okay. I love the top photo particularly! Though I do wonder how you took it! Did you wait for a break in passing cars and then lie on your tummy?! Amazing autumn photos!
ReplyDeleteAll's fine, Linda. Just the cycle of life.
DeletePicture was taken with head down, bum up..up in the air with passing traffic. How embarrassing! (Thankyou). :)
Thank you for the giggle you gave me with this image!!!
DeleteThanks for taking us on this walk...lovely! I haven't been posting much either or commenting... have just been enjoying the kids on holidays and as you say those 'moments'.Also just caught up with some of your posts...I must have been about 4 posts behind !Loved that photo with the circles in the bridge ...that is really 'arty'!
ReplyDeleteLovely post, Chris. We've had a big couple of weeks as well, hope you're all travelling ok.. x
ReplyDeleteWe recently drove to Inverell for a camping holiday, and the Autum tree's were amazing, here on the Northern Rivers we don't really get rows and rows of tree's turning red and gold, you'd hardly know it was Autum.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful autumn photos. We just don't get such spectacular colours here. Sending you love and hugs.
ReplyDeletewhat lovely photos - we don't have a change of seasons here. I look forward to hearing more about your upcoming exciting projects. I am planning on making some of your comfrey salve this weekend, as my hubby has a pulled tendon in his heel and I am hoping it will help..
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the change of seasons especially autumn. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the gorgeous walk, Christine! And I'm glad that the sense of closure has been something of a comfort. Be well.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Jump in a pile of leaves for me, please ;)
Beautiful photos Christine. This time of year is definitely my favourite.
ReplyDeleteSending a big hug to you.
Beautiful photos Christine. I just love this time of the year but where I live we don't get all the Autumn colour. I think I'm going to have to move south :)
