Yip, we have those "teasers" here too but had a tremendous storm last night with lots of wind and rain and today it's so cold that spring could be a way off still!
signs indeed of spring on the way. Your garden is looking lovely Christine... I smelt my first lot of jasmine of the weekend, for me thats when I know winter is on the way out.
Gorgeous photos! :)
Your garden plants are far ahead of mine, even those in the fernery - and my daphne is only just opening (but what a perfume!) And yes, your pictures are gorgeous. Especially the one of the ducks in your last entry.
I am glad you finally got some rain your way, Wendy (you see, it really did work, sending it! :))Thanks Brydie and Celia, they are only small glimpses, but they keep me going until spring appears in all of it's forceful, abundant glory! :)That's surprising Mum, your garden is so much warmer than ours. I do love the scent of daphne..unfortunately ours didn't survive last summers heat.
Our gardens look just the same, I can't wait for summer!
Apple tree bowed down with rain, rotting windfalls, snails in the cabbages, earwigs in the hazelnuts. Grey cloud, rain, rain rain, yes it must be the August Bank Holiday weekend in the UK! How lovely to glimpse your promises of spring :)
Absolutley, green apple! Oh, Jo, you make me laugh! Have a great holiday weekend :)
Hi there, so nice of you to stop by! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I love hearing what you are up to. Christine x
